Responsible for direct management of inventory control; accuracy, transactions, reporting, reconciliations, root cause analysis, physical year-end and cycle counts, job-site return inspections, and vendor returns.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and performs physical cycle counts and year-end inventory, performing necessary reconciliations, system adjustments, reporting, and executive summaries, across multiple warehouse locations
  • Performs root cause analysis and executes mitigation plans to prevent reoccurring inventory discrepancies
  • Inspects job-site returns, collaborating with warehousing and claims teams to disposition
  • Oversees inventory adjustments being performed, ensures appropriate costs are assigned, and issues regular reports to executive management
  • Provides oversight to stock rotation and vendor returns, preparing appropriate documentation, executing appropriate system transactions, in collaboration with Claims Manager
  • Creates appropriate action plans that optimize inventory levels and deplete phantom and surplus inventory
  • Ensures physical inventory is appropriately stored and labeled
  • Ensure system inventory levels and costs are in alignment with physical inventory and reconciled accordingly
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly KPIs and other reports for management review
  • Maintains adequate documentation of inventory control procedures and workflows
  • Ensures direct reports are complying with Supply Chain defined processes and procedures
  • Serves as a backup to respective Supply Chain Colleagues
  • Provides additional support to executive management as requested
Qualifications:

Education & Experience 

  • Associates’ Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or Inventory Management
  • Experience working in project-based business or commercial construction
  • Prior experience in developing and establishing inventory control processes

Skills

  • Substantial time and organizational skills
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Etc.
  • Experienced in MS PowerBi or equivalent, a plus
  • Must be engaging and proactive, with a strong sense of urgency
